Welcome to Tesoro del Valle Elementary!

Dear Parents and Students,
On behalf of our Tesoro del Valle Elementary School Staff, I extend a warm welcome to all of our families visiting our web page. At Tesoro del Valle we pursue excellence in our academic and enrichment programs, while providing a positive learning environment for our students. Academic goals are established based on the California Standards in all subject areas. Our teachers and staff use a direct instruction model for teaching new content and provide a variety of reinforcing and challenging activities. Instruction and curriculum are differentiated to meet the needs of all students.
There are many opportunities for parental involvement at Tesoro. We encourage parents and other family members to volunteer in the classroom, participate in school-wide events, and attend PTA, School Site Council, and English Language Advisory Committee meetings. Your involvement in our school is important and we welcome your contributions.
The purpose of this web site is to keep you informed of general procedures, policies and programs provided for our students and families attending Tesoro del Valle Elementary School. If you have any suggestions or concerns, please contact me at the school office or through email.
Congratulations to the winners of the Tesoro del Valle Toastmasters Contest,
Elle Jenkins, Corinne Malloy and Sofi O'Donnell.
